As an undergraduate of business administration, what better career path could I choose than a course like PGDM. This course would help me intensify my knowledge both theoretically and practically. It would also enhance my decision-making skills, which would play a critical role in catalysing the growth of a business organisation. Another important aspect of this particular program is that it provides a broad perspective of diverse streams of management. PGDM at NMIMS, will not only add value to my career path, but also help me grow individually and professionally. One main aspect of choosing this particular institute is, it provides flexibility in choosing a preferred elective in order to deepen the knowledge in that particular area of management and it also exposes us to the business world by letting us work on various corporate and academic projects. As a student, I have had many opportunities at college level, to organise events like the annual college fest. As a member of the organising committee, I visited many colleges to publicise our event. Apart from this, I have also organised a medical camp, in a village named Girmapur, as a part of an NGO(Human Helping Hands).Another event that I had participated in, during my high school, was a fest where I conducted a photobooth, wherein we were provided with limited funds and were judged based on our business skills as well as our capabilities to make profit. This was the point where I realised how important strategic planning is, for any kind of business. This developed in me, an interest towards the business world and therefore I decided to pursue my bachelors in Business Administration. I am passionate about writing poetry. Two of my poems, have been published in various anthologies. My poem was selected among thousands who were participating from across India. I also contribute regularly to my college magazine. I’m an active user of a writing app named ‘YourQuote’, where I post regularly and have a follower base of 1800 plus followers. I was also invited to be a part of YourQuote open mic.At this stage in life, not just gaining knowledge but also practically exploring the business world is one of my major aims, so as to acquire myself with enough potential to handle higher corporate responsibilities. Five to ten years down the lane, I see myself as the business head of a leading firm, taking crucial decisions, managing the work force and efficiently contributing towards my social responsibilities.
